Maureen Ndegbu is an award-winning International nurse registered as an adult nurse with the NMC UK. She has experience working across various clinical specialities, including stroke, cardiology, and surgical wards. She is passionate about providing support for overseas nurses, especially in the early days following their arrival in the UK and helping them to prepare and pass their OSCE and continue to thrive in their nursing careers. She has helped over 100 nurses prepare and undertake their OSCE exams. She is also a certified NMC OSCE Trainer by Oxford Brookes University, which has helped her to learn how to improve her ability to design an effective NMC OSCE Curriculum for candidates.

She works in the NHS as a Practice Education Facilitator, where she continues to support newly qualified nurses to settle into their new roles. She has received awards in recognition of the support she provides for Overseas nurses, including the International nurse of the year awardee- 2021 by the Black Country and West Birmingham NHS Trusts and Rising Star/ Career Advancement awardee-2021 by the Green White Green Heroes. She was also a finalist for the Overseas Nurse of the year Award category by Nursing Times Workforce in 2021.

She has also completed a professional diploma in Digital Learning design which formed the basis for the design, development and implementation of her first online course.
When she is not at work, she is busy as a wife and mother. She enjoys reading as a hobby.
